The talons of an Eagle, with over 3,500 pounds of compression strength, help these magnificent creatures catch fish and hold on tightly to tree branches while sleeping or riding out a storm.

    Just pointing out this is a Harpy eagle, which is much larger than a bald eagle…but not sure of the talon difference.

    The Harpy Eagle is a lot bigger than a Bald Eagle. They live in South America.
